Risurievun näpertelyt

Here are few decorations which I have made a few days ago. I used old Christmas cards as the material for these. I found a tutorial on Pinterest and here is the address where you can find the original tutorial.  http://www.scoutiegirl.com/tutorial-crafting-a-holiday-card-keepsake-ornament-by-nicole-of-lillyella/ I only made these decorations a bit smaller than in the original tutorial. These were fun and quick to make.

Here is a bag,which I made during this evening. For main material I used a green skirt. In addition to the skirt I used a bit of denim for the outside. For inside of the bag I used an old pillow case.

 Here is a scarf which I made for as an Xmas present this year. I used Novitas Aaria yarn, more than two balls of yarn. The yarns were a bit too thin to use alone so I used three as one... He really liked this scarf. I was a bit afraid that it would have been a bit too short, but luckily it was a perfect length for this scarf.

Here are few cards which I have made for just in case if I have forgotten about someone. As materials I have used white cardboard,small pieces of old book pages.

Here are the Christmas cards for this year. I wanted to use only one theme which I decided it to be reindeer/deer. As materials, I have used old book pages and green and red cardboards. 

Here are few Xmas cards which I made last year, but I have forgotten to write about these simple cards. For materials, I have used old book pages, gift paper, and Xmas themed cardstock. Last year I wanted to make different looking cards for everyone ( using different themes and different materials). This year I will make Xmas cards with the same theme, you will see those a bit later this month.

 Here is an old white folder, which I have covered with comic pages using decoupage technique. I bought those comics from a flea market.  

I made a another hat with the same pattern as the first one. I made this hat for my mother. I used Gull garn yarns with this project. I really like how the end result looks like. I think that this hat was better than the first one,because of my yarn choices. 

 A while ago I found some small left over pieces of that dress which I bought from a flea market three years ago. So... yesterday I made a small bag for my mother reading glasses. I also made a key chain from smaller pieces.

Last weekend I made a hat with my knitting loom. As the yarn I used Novita's Lumo. I watched a tutorial on Youtube. It was a tutorial done by Melanie Ham. I used two strands of yarn, so it would  been a bit better. Unfortunatelly I had few small holes on that hat, I tried to cover them with yarn " I tried to sew the holes a bit". I think that this hat is quite good for my first loom knitted hat. :)

Here are three cat cards which I have made. I made two cat cards with the same base silhouette,because I wanted to see how it looks on a different background.

Here is a bird card,which I made a while ago. For the bird I used an old page from a book. I tried making grass from a small piece of green cardstock paper.
